  • Really awesome, somewhat hip spot that is under the umbrella of Richard DeShantz restaurants. They really never disappoint. It is a little pricey, but the food is awesome. I got to try their Egg Ric Muffin and their ham and cheese croissant. Both were very good. The muffin was substantially more expensive than the croissant but the portion size was relatively similar (minus the parmesan potatoes), so I think that is a much better deal. However, flavor wise I enjoyed the muffin more. There is a great balance of flavors with the cheese, canadian bacon, and egg. Even the sauce is delicious. Not too fatty either and the muffin was in great shape. The potatoes were great as well, perfectly cooked, well seasoned, good amount of cheese, and good portion. The croissant was also very good, but quite rich. The cheese they added on top was a bit much for me, but they also packed a good amount of seemingly quality meat. Quite good for the price. All in all, not a super cheap place but a nice spot breakfast or lunch.

  • We have gone 3 days in a row for breakfast. We have loved all.of the food and drinks. We sat at the bar and had wonderful service. They have unique food and coffee. We had no wait any of the days as well.

  • Ended up at Sally’s after a Lyft ride from PIT airport. The avocado toast was tremendous. The coffee was good. The only slight issue was the 15 minutes I had to wait, after being sat, for a server to come by. From that point on the service was good and the server was friendly. I would definitely go back the next time I’m in Pittsburgh.

  • This was our first visit. As soon as you come in you can feel the hip, modern scene creating a fun vibe for you to enjoy your meal and socialize with your friends or family. The artwork is lively, reminiscent of many of todays popular trendy artists. the menu is diverse enough to offer something for most and every one at the table was pleased with their food.

  • The ambiance, friendly staff and amazing food created back-to-back days at this gem! To start, the “local latte” is absolutely amazing and I don’t even like lattes all that much. I had “The Nasty” and it was literally the best biscuit, gravy and fried chicken I’ve ever had! I didn’t put any salt, pepper or hot sauce on it, it was that amazing!!! The second day I had the chicken and waffle. It was awesome but the nasty was better. My wife had the breakfast sandwich and said it was amazing and our friend loved the avocado toast! Definitely the best breakfast we’ve had in Pittsburgh in the last 5years of coming here regularly!!!

  • Visited here for brunch yesterday with some friends. We made a reservation but it surprisingly wasn’t too busy even with the Pirate game. We ordered a mix of cocktails and non alcoholic drinks to start. I got a Hugo Spritz which was tasty and refreshing, the perfect brunch cocktail. For my meal, I and the Kentucky hot brown. Overall it was tasty, the mornay sauce was really good but it was light on the turkey for an $18 sandwich. My friends tried a few of the other options and had great things to say about the Croque Madam, Quiche Lorraine and brisket hash. However, definitely skip the unseasoned $9 hash brown.

  • Tucked into the morning hum of downtown Pittsburgh, Sally Ann’s serves up a breakfast sandwich that didn’t scream for attention, it earned it. The bacon was the kind that makes you reevaluate every strip you’ve ever had: thick, smoky, unapologetically rich, with a perfect chew that stayed with you. The egg, light as air, played its part without ego, while the supple, buttery bun held it all like it knew it was part of something special. A crunch of gem lettuce brought life, and the pepper jam... sweet heat with a whisper of smoke, pulled the whole thing into focus. I do believe that was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Pictures don't do it justice.
